Syracuse - The Heart of New York

It's a great time of the year in Central New York, as the spring season always feels like a fresh start and new beginning. Now more than ever is a time to explore the great outdoors, trade in our snow shovels for gardening tools and put away skis and sleds in order to pull out bikes and rollerblades.

As flowers bloom and boats begin to set sail on our local lakes and waterways, it's easy to see the abundance of outdoor activities both visitors and locals are able to take pleasure in while spending time in the Greater Syracuse area.

Home to more than 50 state, county and city parks, along with several nature centers; we know you'll discover the perfect place to enjoy. Shoot for that hole-in-one you've always dreamed of at any of Onondaga County's 40 golf courses. (That's more than any other area in the Northeast!) Kids and adults alike love bringing their gloves to Alliance Bank Stadium to watch Syracuse's very own Triple A baseball team in action.
